Even if they were, one of the best parts of T3 Code is that it was built for running lots of work in parallel. You’re not doing that on your own hardware. Also worth noting that everyone asking this is 1. Broke and 2. On hardware that can barely run local models at all

I sometimes forget how easy it is to identify good contributors. The people who are *actually trying* stand out so much. Found a TON of awesome devs by going through all the T3 Code PRs. If you want to hire some great engs, look through the PRs I merged.

Look at their GPU driver workaround flags, it’s just another level of optimizing that can only be done at their scale. it is an absolute marvel of an engineering project led by engineers that deeply care about user experience. it shows up everywhere you look.

Google has spent billions optimizing the Chromium renderer across all platforms. It paints text and handles rapid updates better than most “native” solutions. Getting stuff like virtualization working natively was actually hell. No matter what I did, I couldn’t make it “feel” as good as chromium does by default. Lots of native engineers have made the same discovery
“Why did you use Electron for T3 Code?” Because I evaluated every option, and Electron had the best performance across all platforms for most things.
